From October 31 to November 1, a total of 64 students from the School of the Gifted Young (SGY) competed in the 56th University Student Sports Meet. Through  teamwork and outstanding performance on the field, they won the First Place in the Undergraduate Men's Team event, the Fourth Place in the Undergraduate Women's Team event, and the First Place in the Undergraduate Overall Team event. In addition, SGY earned the Outstanding Coverage Award.

SGY students claimed the first place in a total of ten events: Men's 100 m, Men's 800 m, Men's 1500 m, Men's 110 m Hurdles, Women's 100 m, Women's 200 m, Women's 100 m Hurdles, Women's 4 x 100 m Relay, Mixed 50 m Shuttle Relay, and Hongyun Color Ball. SGY students also won places in many more events.

After tallying the scores,SGY secured a total of 107 points in the Undergraduate Men's Team event and claimed the Championship. The SGY Women's Team scored 71 points, placing in the fourth. With a combined total of 234 points, the overall team claimed the First Place in the Undergraduate Overall Team event. Congratulations to all of our athletes!
