On the evening of June 12, the School of the Gifted Young (SGY) held its 2025 graduation ceremony, themed “Dreams in Their Hearts, Young Talents Set Sail”. The event was attended by the SGY administration team, alumni representatives, graduating class advisors, and all graduating students.

Prof. Zhengtian Lu, Dean of SGY, reflected on the graduates' journey of growth within SGY, offering high praise for their dedication and progress. He encouraged them to embrace their dreams with courage, to pursue their aspirations relentlessly, and to continuously explore and innovate on their future paths, contributing their talents to society.

Lu Zhengtian announced the list of Anhui Province's Outstanding Graduates from Regular Higher Education Institutions for the Class of 2025. SGY leaders presented certificates to these distinguished students, who exemplified excellence in academics, research, and social practice, serving as role models for their peers.

Alumnus Du Wenliang from the Class of 1988 shared his experiences studying in SGY and his post-graduation research journey. He encouraged younger students to cherish their youth, pursue their dreams courageously, find a career they love, and persevere in it.

A buffet reception followed the ceremony, allowing faculty and students to mingle in a relaxed atmosphere and share in the joy of graduation. The event reached its climax with performances. Graduates presented a dazzling array of acts, showcasing their talents and passion for university life. The raffle brought excitement, filling the venue with laughter and cheers.

Finally, all faculty and students joined in singing the university anthem, bringing the graduation ceremony to a perfect close.
